TYPES OF INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES
Types of Instructional strategies on the basis of roles of teaching variable.
1. Teacher-Controlled Instructional (TCI),
2. Learner-Controlled Instructional (LCI), and
3. Group-Controlled Instructional (GCI)
An instructional strategy determines the role of teacher and learners in teaching-learning situations. An instructional strategy is selected in view of subject-content to be taught. In the following table instructional strategies and nature of teaching learning situations have been provided.
