LIMITATIONS
- This method cannot be applied in the elementary classes.
- It is time-consuming. Solution of a single problem may take a lot of time. Thus, it is difficult to complete the prescribed syllabus.
- It expects too much from the teachers as well as the students. Thus, most of the students may not be able to benefit from this procedure.
- It may prove useful only for higher classes and highly intelligent students.
- Sufficient sources of required information may not be always available. In spite of these limitations, problem- solving is a very useful procedure from the educational point of view.
