The recitation method is characterized as a question-and- answer session during which the teacher asks a series of questions and the students provide the answers based on what they have read in their textbooks or other assignments or what has been presented by the teacher during a lecture, demonstration, or other activity.Through this procedure the teacher assess whether students have learned what was presented in the textbook, lecture, or other assigned material, It can be used to develop understandings of concepts and principles or for elaboration and explanation of ideas.
