A PA chest projection with accurate positioning demonstrates
1)10 or 11 posterior ribs above the diaphragm.
2)equal posterior rib length on both sides of the chest.
3)the manubrium superimposed by the fourth thoracic vertebra.
4)the scapulae outside the lung field.
